With its APC Factory Renewed UPSs, Schneider Electric offers refurbished systems to ensure a reliable power supply. As part of the Circular Certified Programme, suitable units are tested, refurbished and, where necessary, repaired before being put back on sale. This approach focuses on reuse, refurbishment and recycling. It enables existing hardware to be reused, rather than relying solely on new products.
During the refurbishment process, all UPS systems are thoroughly inspected, overhauled and repaired if necessary. Individual components are replaced, minor signs of wear are removed and the devices are then comprehensively tested. After successful testing, they receive the ‘Refurbished by Schneider’ seal, which stands for tested quality, traceability and manufacturer's warranty.

Particularly important: the batteries are also checked. Only cells that are less than 18 months old and show full performance remain in the device. Older or worn batteries are replaced with new original batteries.
