Refurbishment - Definition

Refurbishment refers to the process of restoring, renovating or overhauling used or obsolete electronic devices and components.

The IT hardware is thus restored to an (almost) new condition. This process improves the functionality and reliability of the hardware, taking into account not only external but also internal aspects. Products with the “refurbished” label are therefore carefully checked and fully functional.

These refurbished products are often offered at a lower price than new devices and are an environmentally friendly option as they reduce electronic waste and extend the life of electronic devices. Refurbishment therefore offers a cost-effective alternative to purchasing high-quality electronic devices.
