Cybercrime refers to perpetrators who use modern information technology to commit crimes against computer systems and networks. This can include cyber terrorism or cyber espionage.

It often involves individuals or organizations consisting of hackers or cyber criminals. They commit crimes such as email, identity or internet fraud. However, theft of financial or other sensitive data, phishing or virus distribution can also occur.

In such cases, caution is required, as cybercrime poses a serious threat to digital society. Companies and individuals should make continuous efforts to protect themselves against attacks and ensure security by taking certain precautions.
