Artificial Intelligence - Definition

Artificial intelligence (AI) develops algorithms and systems to perform tasks that require human intelligence. The main goal is to enable machines to learn, understand, plan, solve problems and adapt to new situations. Various approaches such as machine learning (ML), neural networks and expert systems play a role.

Machine learning enables machines to recognize patterns in data and learn from them. Neural networks mimic the structures of the human brain. AI is used in areas such as speech recognition, image processing, autonomous driving, medical diagnosis and robotics. The constantly evolving field is pushing the boundaries of machines and influencing different areas of life. Dynamic advances in AI are showing an impressive increase in performance, leading to widespread application and creating opportunities for progress in science, business and society. However, the rapid development and diverse applications pose new challenges.

The applications of this technology are constantly increasing and we are only just beginning to discover its extensive potential. Amid the growing interest in the integration of AI in companies, the discussion of ethical issues is becoming increasingly essential.
